Speaker Bio

Ruben Flohr is a technology and strategy officer at the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking. He has been guiding innovation related to system wide information management, cyber security, communication, navigation and surveillance and trajectory-based operations. Over the last two years he has been instrumental in the introduction of service-oriented architecture and the usage of cloud-technology in safety critical ATM systems. Ruben has a long-standing career in aviation that also includes KLM’s flight planning systems development, the Dutch Air Traffic Control systems strategy development, as well as aviation consultancy.
