ATM Equipment Section Manager
Richard holds a Master in Aeronautical Telecommunications from the ENAC school and started his career in 2010 at the French Air Navigation Service Provider DSNA where he worked as project manager in CNS projects such as the France Navaids rationalization plan and the modernization of Aeronautical Information systems.
He then moved to Canada, where he worked as an Airworthiness specialist for Bombardier and later Airbus Canada. During this time, he had the opportunity to contribute to Avionics developments for both the well-established Canadian Regional Jet CRJ program and the more recent clean-sheet Airbus A220 aircraft.
Upon returning to France, he continued his trajectory in the airborne world, this time working for the French authority DGAC, where he managed a team of Airworthiness and flight operations specialists, while also acting as a FlightOps inspector and an EASA Avionics expert involved in CS23 and CS25 programs.
Six months ago, he returned to the ATM world of his early professional years and joined EASA, where he now manages the newly-created ATM Equipment Section. In this role, he brings his experience to further shape the growing equipment attestation domain.
