Assistant Vice President for Air Traffic Management Solutions
Dan Hicok is Assistant Vice President of Air Traffic Management Solutions at NAV Canada, where he leads the development and delivery of air traffic management software, systems, and services across domestic and oceanic operations, tower systems, and operational information management. He brings more than 25 years of experience in systems engineering, program management, and technical leadership across government and industry. Prior to joining NAV Canada, Dan served as Vice President of the Program Management Organization within the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Organization, overseeing acquisition and infrastructure programs critical to modernizing and sustaining the National Airspace System. His earlier roles include Director of Surveillance Services, where he led radar and Surveillance and Broadcast Services programs, Director of Strategy in Mission Support, and Chief Systems Engineer for Air Traffic Systems, where he aligned NextGen capabilities with enterprise architecture and acquisition pathways. His career has focused on integrating advanced technologies into operational environments, with direct leadership on major programs including terminal sequencing, interval management, and runway safety systems.
