Speaker Bio

Jelena Dokic, PhD, is a Human Factors expert in air traffic management at Integra. She has extensive experience contributing to international projects and SESAR programme, as well as research and development activities in the European ATM domain, covering both ground and airborne operations. Her work focuses on human performance, operational validation, and safety assessment.
She supports ANSPs in the deployment of new technologies, addressing their impact on controller roles, decision-making, and overall system performance, ensuring that changes are both safe and operationally acceptable. Her work also includes human performance analysis to assess current operational effectiveness, identify gaps, and support future workforce needs of ANSPs.
Jelena contributes as a human factors expert to activities related to the evolution of ATCO licensing frameworks and participates in the Commission Expert Group on Human Dimension (CEGHD), supporting stakeholder dialogue and the integration of human performance considerations in ATM transformation.
