Speaker Bio

Katrijn De Mecheleer began her aviation career at skeyes as an ATSEP before transitioning, in 1995, to Air Traffic Management. She served for many years as an Air Traffic Controller at Brussels Tower and Brussels ACC, also taking on roles in ATCO training.
In 2012, Katrijn shifted her focus toward training and human performance. She played a key role in introducing and developing competence based training within skeyes, and contributed to strengthening both the way people are trained and the support provided to operations.
In 2018, she became Training & Human Performance Manager, overseeing the full ATCO training cycle.
Today, driven by her passion for learning, people development, and organizational transformation, Katrijn serves as Business Domain Manager Training & Development within the skeyes Transformation Department, helping shape the future of training and development across the organization.
