Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), in partnership with the technology provider Indra, has successfully launched a centralized System Wide Information Management (SWIM) Portal, in full alignment with ICAO principles and national digital aviation initiatives.
The deployed solution enables standardized, interoperable digital exchange of aeronautical, meteorological, and flight information using globally recognized data models including AIXM, FIXM, and IWXXM. Through a secure, single-access portal, authorized stakeholders can seamlessly discover, visualize, and download structured data in both 2D and 3D formats. This significantly enhances transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across the aviation ecosystem. Designed to support interoperability and data consistency, the platform strengthens digital integration.
This milestone positions DANS and Indra at the forefront of aviation digital transformation.
