Tobias Finck received his master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2016 from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany). Since 2016 he is a researcher at the Institution of Flight Guidance of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). In mid-2017 he joined the Flight Centric ATC team. There he designed and validated a concept for Flight Centric ATC for the Hungarian airspace as part of the SESAR2020 program. Within SESAR2020 he acted as deputy Solution Lead and was responsible for the deliverable of serval documents. His current research focuses on the development of Flight Centric ATC for an ECAC-wide Flight Centric concept including the design of a new radar HMI and the concept on how aircraft shall be allocated to the controllers. In addition, he coordinates all activities for Flight Centric at DLR.
