Mildred Troegeler

Director, Global Regulatory Strategy
Mildred Troegeler is the director of Global Regulatory Strategy for Boeing Product &
Services Safety. In this role, she leads a diverse and global team that develops and
operationalizes key global regulatory and policy strategies for product and services
across the enterprise. This includes the airspace integration regulatory strategy
working with regulators around the world to support the safe integration of new
technologies into the airspace with a continued focus on safety. Most recently,
Troegeler has also served as director of Global Airspace Integration for Boeing NeXt,
a business division dedicated to building a safe, sustainable and seamless future
mobility ecosystem.
Previously, Troegeler served as the director of Technical & Regulatory Affairs for Boeing
Europe. In that role, she was responsible for representing Boeing interests with all
European institutions, most notably the European Commission, European Aviation
Safety Agency and the European Parliament. Before Boeing, she was the technical and
operations general manager at the Association of European Airlines (AEA). Troegeler
also shaped space policies at the United Nations as a legal and policy advisor to the
German Aerospace Center.
Troegeler holds a law degree with a specialization in economics and competition law
from the University of Bonn; and a postgraduate Master of Laws in air and space law
from the University of Leiden. She is a board member of the NATO Maritime Unmanned
Systems Innovation Advisory Board.
