Chief Technology Officer
Hermann Mattanovich was born in Carinthia, Austria, in 1960. He is married
and has three daughters. His hobbies are his family and relaxing in the
garden. Hermann Mattanovich studied electrical engineering at Vienna University of
Technology. He graduated in 1985. Hermann Mattanovich started his career as a technical consultant for
companies such as Philips, Elin, VOEST, and Frequentis. He also lectured at
Vienna University of Technology. In 1988, he co-founded PDTS, a software
development company headquartered in Vienna. From the beginning, there
was a continuous and successful collaboration with Frequentis, which
subsequently acquired all shares in PDTS.
Between 1999 and 2004, Hermann Mattanovich was responsible for the
TETRA development portfolio at Frequentis. In 2005, the TETRA activities
were placed in a separate company. As CEO of this company,
Mr. Mattanovich built up enormous knowledge of solutions for the private
mobile communications market. In January 2009, he was appointed to the
Executive Board of Frequentis AG with responsibility for technology.
His responsibilities cover research and development and the Frequentis
Group's technology activities. He also contributes his expertise to major
Frequentis projects which involve is high demand for innovative technological
solutions
