Business Manager Drones

Henk Hesselink is Business Manager Drones at the German Aerospace Center DLR for the Institute of Flight Guidance. Within the institute, his main responsibility concerns business development for1 spe the department of UAS. Henk holds a degree in Computer Science and AI from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Henk has over 30 years of experience in different fields of aviation and is now working over 10 years on the integration of drones and urban air mobility (UAM). Henk has been active in several European and national Dutch projects, like VUTURA (project coordinator) and AMU-LED (technical coordinator) for demonstrating the use of drones in urban environment and flying eVTOL taxi drones. Henk is active in several drone working groups, such as the Airports and Drones Task Force.
