Speaker Bio

Micol Biscotto (F) got her degree in Chemistry from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2003 and since then she worked as a researcher at the Italian National Research Council- Institute for Atmospheric Pollution, for 6 years. At CNR-IIA she was project manager of many projects aimed at planning air quality monitoring networks and industrial emission mitigation systems in China and in the Balkan area. After that she worked for 5 years as a researcher at Politecnico di Torino-Energy Department where she was in charge of project planning and management, mainly in the field of sustainable road and urban transport. At POLITO she was in charge of the TRA VISIONS 2016 and TRA VISIONS 2018 projects and also of the e-gomotion project that aimed to organize competitions for high school and university students on transport. She currently works at Deep Blue ltd as Head of the Grant Office and she is the coordinator of the Engage 2 SESAR Knowledge Network project and the Travel Wise project that is cofunded by SESAR 3JU and Europe’s Rail JU. From 2010 to 2016 she was CEO of Ecoalcubo ltd, a consultancy firm in the field of environment and energy. Finally in 2011 she founded the Associazione Corrente in Movimento which carried out the first electric tour of Italy in 2011, “Corrente in Movimento-Giro d’Italia elettrico” and many other initiatives on sustainable mobility in the following years.
