Speaker Bio

Michiel van Dorst is Civil Aviation Advisor for the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication of Bahrain. Before he joined the MoTT he was the CEO of Air Traffic Control the Netherlands LVNL. In those years he was committed to LVNLs mission of working together with society, customers, and partners to enable safe, high-performance, and sustainable aviation in the Netherlands and beyond. Before joining LVNL, Michiel has worked for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for more than two decades, of which the last seven years as operations executive in the Executive Committee and as captain on the Boeing 737 and Boeing 777.
