Flight Test Engineer
Estela Guerrero García graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Seville in 2016. Following her passion for both language and engineering, she moved to Bristol, UK, where she refined her English skills and began her professional journey. During her time there, she had the privilege of working at Dyson—an iconic name in British engineering—where she took her first steps into the industry.
In 2019, driven by the desire to develop her career closer to home, Estela returned to Seville to explore opportunities within the aerospace sector. She has been working at CATEC in the Avionics and Systems department for more than three years, immersing herself in the rapidly evolving drone industry. Over time, she has grown into a key figure within the team, supporting projects at the ATLAS Flight Test Centre and serving as CATEC’s Safety Manager. Passionate about innovation and regulation, she continues to deepen her expertise in flight authorisations for cutting-edge UAS technologies. Estela is proud to contribute to the advancement of Spanish drone operations and is committed to positioning CATEC as a leading UAS operator in Europe. Happy to admit this a non-stop learning path, she is looking forward to sharing every tiny bit she has had the opportunity to discover.
