UK Head of Airworthiness & Certification – Prime Air
Duncan is an aerospace engineer with over 21 years of experience in both traditional and innovative aircraft development, production, and R&D projects. With BAE Systems, he led the first UK flight trials introducing TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) onto a fast-jet platform. His work expanded to experimental UAS technologies, where he led the testing and demonstration of airspace integration technologies, including early Sense and Avoid concepts that address today’s UAS challenges. Currently, Duncan is the Head of Airworthiness & Certification for Prime Air in the UK, leading the rollout of the Prime Air drone delivery service to Amazon customers in the UK. He remains passionate about applying aerospace best practices in fast-paced, highly innovative environments that push the boundaries of conventional aviation.
