Trajectory-based operations (TBO) is the cornerstone of the SESAR vision to optimise the capacity of Europe’s skies, while enabling greener and more predictable air travel. Progress is being made on some key capabilities and solutions that make TBO possible, such as the interoperability between ground systems, and the downlinking of aircraft trajectories into ground systems. The session and accompanying tour will showcase these solutions and hear from manufacturers and air navigation service providers on how they are making these TBO enablers operational.
