Delivering an integrated airspace for the future

Session Overview

Flying cars, autonomous delivery, infrastructure that can diagnose and maintain itself using drones - these are tropes of a long-promised sci-fi future. So, what gives? - Is my autonomous taxi finally on its way?

Nothing in our industry builds hype quite like Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and in an industry where some seemingly small incremental changes have taken decades to reach maturity, this hype rightfully generates some apprehension. Where does this leave us? Is there room for both excitement and healthy skepticism?

In this presentation, Collins Aerospace's Nick Liberko explores a vision of a highly automated global airspace ecosystem, serving a greater diversity of use cases and operating at a scale unlike anything before - all while maintaining safety and reliability. But also, some of the biggest challenges we must face getting there.
